Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting

Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Medina City Hall. Property owners desiring to appeal your 2018 valuation or classification to the Medina Local Board of Appeals and Equalization must follow the three steps outlined below:

  • Step 1: Contact the City Assessor at (763) 473-3978. Contacting the City Assessor will allow you the opportunity to work out a valuation or classification change prior to the Local Board meeting. It will also allow the City Assessor time to bring any information or analysis on your property to the Local Board meeting.
  • Step 2: Complete the 2018 City Application prior to the Local Board meeting. If you have trouble accessing the PDF application, contact Jodi Gallup at jodi.gallup@medinamn.gov or call (763) 473-8850.
  • Step 3: Submit supporting evidence for a valuation or classification change. Supporting evidence may include comparable properties in your neighborhood or an appraisal.
