Chippewa Road Project (EAW) Grading and Wetland/Watercourse Impacts

The EAW includes the review of approximately 139 acres of land in northern Medina, generally north of Highway 55 and east of Mohawk Drive.  The project includes the construction of Chippewa Road to connect Mohawk Drive and Arrowhead Drive. The Weston Woods development is proposed to include approximately 108 twin homes and townhomes and 42 detached single-family lots.  Separate land within the EAW area is projected to potentially accommodate over 30,000-square-feet of commercial development space at some time in the future.

The goal of the EAW is to develop an analysis and overview of the potential environmental impacts to the site, determine if the project will cause any significant environmental impacts that cannot be mitigated through normal review processes, and provide information for planning and design.
