Chippewa Road/Arrowhead Drive Corridor Study

The City recently began a visioning study of the Chippewa Road/Arrowhead Drive corridors.  The study will address future construction of Chippewa Road east of Mohawk Drive and future improvements to Arrowhead Drive north of Highway 55.  The need for roadway and trail improvements in this corridor were identified in the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

OPEN HOUSE
Tuesday, October 15, 2019 – 5:00-6:45 p.m.

The open house will be held in the City Council chambers of City Hall, 2052 County Road 24.  There will be opportunities to influence the design of the ultimate street improvements by identifying current issues in the corridor and providing feedback on potential alternatives being considered.

No timeline has been set for construction and will be based on development in the area or changes in traffic volumes in the future.  The study is intended to allow future improvements to be incorporated into adjacent projects and allow the City to be prepared to respond efficiently when construction becomes necessary.
