Description: This nature area is approximately 70 acres that includes a portion of Lake Medina and several surrounding acres. This area provides a wildlife habitat and is a beautiful asset to the city, but it mainly serves the Bridgewater at Lake Medina subdivision, because its only access is by crossing a walking bridge over the wetlands. This is the headwaters of Elm Creek, an impaired water.
